Specialized Concrete Services

Structural Concrete Scanning:

Concrete scanning is used for different applications in the Building and Civil Engineering Environment. With our scanner we are able to scan broad areas of concrete.  We are also able to detect objects in multiple layers, as well as the condition of the concrete.

Our scanners are equipped with three Radar antennae to scan up to 300mm deep in wet concrete and 400mm deep in hardened concrete, providing 2D and 3D images in real time; these can then be exported into a report.

Our system can be used for:

Our teams are trained in using the equipment to gain the maximum benefit from the scans and with our trained engineer we can generate a report that will indicate the information required by our clients to effectively use the data for their analysis.

Over the years we have scanned several structures and generated reports for clients in the Residential, Commercial, Mining, Industrial and Infrastructure environments for Design Engineering Firms, Consulting Firms and Contractors.

Joint Sealing

We use Polysulphide, Polyurethane Joint Sealing and Epoxy applied Bandage Systems, depending on the site requirements.

Our system can be used for:

Epoxy Doweling:

Often, we are faced with the challenge of installing Reinforcing Bars or HD Bolts after concrete has been placed or as alterations to existing concrete structures.

This can be done by drilling holes at the required position using SDS Plus, SDS Max or Core Drilling techniques. Our teams are trained to then use epoxy systems to install these dowels as per data specification.

Structural Steel and Foundation Grouting

(Non- Shrink and Self Levelling)
By using reputable products available on the market, together with our skilled staff, we can supply and install Non-Shrink and Self Levelling grout to Structural Steel Bases, Tank Bases,
Pumps and Motors as well as Anchoring of Precast Concrete Members. These processes are performed by gravity feed or by using pressure grout pumps – most commonly used in the Mining and Industrial Industries.

Ground Improvement and Void Filling (Specialised Cementitious Mixes)
